What Our Customers Say

From family farms to large manufacturers, businesses across the Southeast trust us with their IBC tank needs.

We switched from buying new tanks to reconditioned IBCs from Myrtle Beach IBC and cut our irrigation costs by 60%. The tanks arrive clean, pressure-tested, and with documentation. We now have 14 tanks across our 12-acre operation and haven't had a single issue in two years.

Robert Jenkins

Owner, Jenkins Family Farm

Food-grade reconditioned IBCs are perfect for our brewery. We use them for CIP solution storage, grain slurry collection, and water staging. The cleaning certificates give us confidence for health inspections, and the price is about half of what we'd pay for new containers.

Sarah Mitchell

Head Brewer, Grand Strand Brewing Co.

We keep six IBCs on trailers for our crew trucks — water for new plantings, liquid fertilizer for commercial jobs. The team at Myrtle Beach IBC set us up with the right valves, hose adapters, and even mounted two tanks for us. Reliable service every time we need more.

David Hernandez

Operations Manager, Coastal Landscaping

Dust suppression water, concrete mixing, equipment wash — we go through IBCs fast on job sites. Having a local supplier who delivers same-day and picks up empties on the same trip has simplified our logistics significantly. Pricing is transparent with no surprises.

Michelle Carter

Site Supervisor, Palmetto Construction

We built a complete rainwater collection system with four IBCs connected in series — 1,100 gallons of storage for under $600 total. The team helped us design the plumbing layout and even delivered on a Saturday. Our garden hasn't needed municipal water since.

James & Linda Park

Homesteaders, Pawleys Island

We generate a lot of used cooking oil, and Myrtle Beach IBC set us up with food-grade collection tanks and a regular pickup schedule. They also recycle our old containers instead of sending them to the landfill. It's the kind of sustainable partnership every restaurant should have.

Chef Anthony Russo

Owner, Russo's Coastal Kitchen

Frequently Asked Questions

What is an IBC tank and what is it used for?
An IBC (Intermediate Bulk Container) is a reusable industrial container designed for transporting and storing bulk liquids. The most common type holds 275 gallons in an HDPE plastic bottle inside a galvanized steel cage on a pallet. They're used in agriculture, food production, chemical manufacturing, construction, landscaping, and hundreds of other applications.
How much do used IBC tanks cost?
Pricing varies by grade and condition. Economy/as-is tanks start at the lowest price point, while food-grade reconditioned tanks are at the premium end. Used tanks generally cost 40-70% less than new. Volume discounts available for 10+ units. Contact us for current pricing.
Do you deliver? How far?
Yes — we deliver locally in Horry County (often same-day or next-day), regionally across SC, NC, and GA (2-5 business days), and nationally through carrier partners. Local delivery is included for most orders. See our transportation page for details.
Are your reconditioned tanks food-safe?
Our Grade A reconditioned tanks are certified for food-contact reuse. They were originally used for food-safe liquids, then triple-rinsed with food-safe cleaning agents, fitted with new gaskets, pressure-tested, and each comes with a cleaning certificate.
What's the difference between grades A, B, C, and D?
Grade A is food-grade reconditioned (for food/beverage contact). Grade B is industrial reconditioned (for non-food liquids). Grade C is standard used (for water storage, irrigation). Grade D is economy/as-is (for planters, dry storage, DIY projects). Each grade reflects condition, cleaning level, and suitable applications.
Will you buy my surplus IBC tanks?
Yes — we purchase used IBCs in any quantity and condition. We offer fair market pricing and free pickup within Horry County for 4+ tanks. Contact us with quantity, condition, and previous contents for a buyback quote.
How does your cleaning and reconditioning process work?
Our 7-step process includes intake inspection, content verification, disassembly, triple rinse (hot water, alkaline detergent, food-safe sanitizer), component replacement, pressure testing at 150% capacity, and certification with documentation.
Do you offer volume discounts for bulk orders?
Yes — orders of 10+ tanks receive quantity pricing. 25+ tanks get deeper discounts plus priority stock access. 50+ tanks qualify for our best per-unit pricing with dedicated account management. Full truckloads (48+ tanks) receive maximum savings.
